what is this game?
The Underground is a 3rd person platformer designed by students the Digital Gaming Program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology located in Kirkland, WA. Scheduled for release at PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) Prime in August 2014, The Underground utilizes innovative auto generating levels making the experience of every player unique.
In a darkened subterranean world, the auto defense system has failed, the natives are restless.
Armed with nothing but your wits and a few flares, you must navigate through life-threatening obstacles and ultimately bring power back to the grid.

Why make this game?
What originally stated as a pet project, a group of students banded together to create an awesome game to be played at PAX. Being in the Multimedia and Game Design department, we want to make the game because that involves everything we love doing. Modeling, texturing, animations and programming. Rather than sitting is USBs collecting dust, the students really want to show off their work and that opportunity is Pax.
What inspirations?
In addition, the game was meant to push the student's knowledge and skills further, the work and effort will be above any other project they have previously done.
